For each tutorial:

• The tutorial needs to be profitable; otherwise it is not given. The treasurer confirms the profitability at the early-bird deadline.
• Renumeration is given only for tutorials that take place.
• One renumeration is given per tutorial independent of the number of speakers.
• 30% of the tutorial revenue goes to the tutorial giver as renumeration. To comply with IEEE regulations and Swedish law, that renumeration is split as follows:
  • 10% IEEE Service Administration Fees is subtracted from renumeration and paid to IEEE.
  • If company/university receives the renumeration: 90% is paid to company/university. Social and other statutory costs are to be paid by that company/university.
  • If Swedish person is receiving the renumeration: 30% LKP and 18% Tax is paid to Skatteverket, 42% is paid to tutorial speaker.
  • If non-Swedish person is receiving the renumeration: 30% LKP and 15% SINK is paid to Skatteverket, 45% is paid to tutorial speaker.
• A full-day tutorial receives one free entrance for the main conference. A 1/2-day tutorials receives a 50% rebate on one main conference ticket. The respective main conference registration fee is refunded after the tutorial has been held.
  • RE'14 gives the presenters of a cancelled tutorial the possibility to cancel their conference participation. The cancellation of the conference participation will result in an immediate refund. The cancellation is to be done within 2 weeks after the notice of tutorial cancellation. After that deadline, the normal conference registration terms and conditions apply.
